Musing :: Style : Tropical White Christmas

I'm getting back on my feet! As a result i was able to catch a local Christmas tree lighting near by. :) This is what a wore.Yes, I'm aware there is a rather perturbed pup in my shots. He was not much bothered :)

 

 

 I know the stereo typical 'Christmas Colours' are red and green but i decided to go with a black and white theme, this is likely as close as i'll ever get to having a white Christmas.  It's my own little tradition to where this top every Christmas time. I love the way it's covered in bows, it makes me think of gift giving and receiving, something that is most popular at this time of year. It's rather old but forming my own traditions is something important to me. This is the caribbean, so boots are not the smartest or most conventional choice but it was late evening and i have a very strange habit of being cold in environments where everyone else is quite fine... These short white boots were handed over to me by an older relative long bored of them and i decided why not keep and recycle them? I might look a tad bit strange to others but i was so happily treasuring my warm feet! Plus, what's the point of caring what others think of what i wear anyway? They'll stare even if I'm dressed as everyone else so I'm damned if i do and damned if i don't, as a result i opt for damned comfortable :P
