2016 Word : Six Months In

Victory has been good to me but I don't think I've been very good to it. Some way along these past three months I think I lost my footing in the fight to stay Brave and Courageous, two things necessary for Victory to thrive.

I think that in April I was a little brave. In May not so much. Here I am now in June struggling to do some very very frightening things. Still....In God we trust.

Musing Style :: Sweatshirt Wishlist

I've come to realise that I have no proper sweat shirt to get on the plane and keep worm. I am a person who always feels cold and I figured this would be a good time to rectify the situation. Also, I thought it would be great fun to add a little bookish to the mix because why not?

I admit I got a little distracted...as seen by the fact that not every shirt above is a sweat shirt but ah bookish wit gets me so smirky haha. I have one in mind but which do you think I should choose for my trio? Check this link out for more bookish wit!

I also wanted this talk nerdy to me  one.

What do you wear when you travel?

Peace. Love.Wit.

Enigma Art Exhibition

*

I attend the third exhibition of my artist friend T.D.Frederick. By now he should be off on his mini tore of north America making mind blowing waves and sharing his work with the world at large. He and I have collaborated on many many projects and it has always been both inspiring and life changing.

I am always happy to be a part of this artistic journey, whether as model, script writer or movie producer. Fun fact, that's me in the blue art print next to my pointer finger!

This event was also an opportunity to meet up with a lot of people in the local artistic community. No place I'd rather be no vibe I love being surrounded in more. There is absolutely nothing like getting lost in the crowd at art show. It is exhilarating to be so alone in the midst of a multitude all lit on fire with awe.

That last photo, where I am surrounded by the older ladies  (* is copyright Arthur Daniel) is a very happy moment for me. All the women in that photo I consider mentors in some way or another. They are bright, successful, female creatives who have lived life with fire. I always learn so much in their company.

Peace. Love. Vibe.

Birthday Recap 2016

Do forgive the typo on the photo, it's meant to say sulphur spring.

My birthday was fantastic. I actually celebrated it all weekend this year. At the park with friends who  MADE ME TWO CAKES. Home made zest-y cheese cake and double chocolate mocha with a white chocolate dusting at the top.

We sat at the park after I stopped by the book store to greet some old friends (yes I mean books) The sunset was beautiful that day. Afterwards we got a chance to use a large bottle of water and a flash light (via phone) to make a light that illuminated our whole table. I thought that was pretty cool. We also had some German wine that day which, if I'm honest totally won me over because of its amazing blue colour.

The next day we went to try a zip line in the north east of the island, then to the sulphur springs. We also had the amazing experience of riding horses up to the local facility where they bottle spring water. It was a great time. I should have probably documented it sooner because I went straight into finals then brain mush.

All I can remember now is that it was a fantastic time spent with good intelligent people. I was grateful for their time.

Peace. Love. Celebrate.
